Maestro Ewashko presented a performance of Schubert's "Winterreise" in May 2003.

On Easter Sunday, 2003, he conducted a massed choir of 150 and a brass ensemble during the annual CBC Easter Sunrise Service, broadcast live on both radio and television.

In June, 2003, he will return to Muenster, Saskatchewan, to conduct two choral camps for the Saskatchewan Choral Federation.

He also recently conducted the National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO) and Michael Burgess during the Black & White Fundraising Concert on February 15th, 2003. This concert was followed on February 16th by Cantata Singers of Ottawa own concert, in which they were joined by the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir. A concert of choral masterpieces was presented, including works by Mendelssohn and Halley.
